- do you remember their version of Black socks after the mare named the same?
- black socks she never gets tired, the longer you ride her the faster she gets. Sometimes I think I should stop her, but something keeps telling me no, no, not yet.
- best song ever! Once it’s in your head that’s it!
- Our family moved to Georgetown 1967. I knew nothing and no one. Our back yard over looked what is now, the watch tower. Daily I walked my dog along the grassy fence line and one day I watched a woman on a horse riding along and she came towards me. Mrs. Milne is the first person who I spoke with from GT. Invited me to her home, drop by any time she said. What a beautiful spot it was. I managed to meet her oldest son as we are around the same age. Boy did he have a lot of chores. That summer I helped Mike with his barn chores in the morning and we rode the horses in the afternoon. The best years, thank you Mrs. Milne.
- very cool
- Love this connection. That's my mom that's what we lived everyday!

- I went to Wildwood Manor for years as a child. She was a big influence in my life. A strong woman who could also comfort a child in need. I have very fond memories of helping her in the kitchen preparing lunch for the campers, and me only a little thing.
- The summer I was 13 she hired me to iron the family's clothes three days a week - and that was a lot of clothes! On nice days she would string together a bunch of extension cords and set up the ironing board on the lawn so I could be outside and enjoy the summer breeze.... Probably a fire danger but so thoughtful of her.
-Wow wonderful memory. There was a lot of us. My mother was very proud for how we looked! I did many chores. But not ironing. Thank you for wanting to do that🙂
- At 13, it was better than babysitting! I had lots of quiet time to myself and it was oddly satisfying to leave piles of neatly pressed clothes instead of a heap of laundry....I also learned to ski on your small hills out back during the winter.
- This kind hearted woman was a pillar of strength, so hard working and just down right AMAZING!
- I took one of her evening cooking classes at Gtwn High many years ago..she was so much fun and unconventional 😍

Jenifer Milne Wow ..I'm overwhelmed..I'm the youngest most fortunate daughter of Annette Marion Milne. Such an adventurous life. We never stood still. Except to Smell the Rose's. My mom was truly a great Mentor. She was fearless, she had energy beyond energy. She was always searching for that next Best thing. She was always Teaching anything about everything. I always wanted her to be proud of me . I always wanted to help her and be near her always. She was a Strong force but always moving in a Positive direction. Thank you all for remembering my Mom and our incredible Life we lived in Georgetown on Wildwood Rd. As well our 2nd Farm on the 8th Line Wildwood Manor Ranch.

- fond memory of riding horses at your farm. I recall getting into a wee bit of trouble during a sudden thunderstorm. I think it was your Mom who told me to get off and walk the horse close to barn after it reared up with me on it. .I was a bit scared for sure haha. Lesson learned. 😁
-Wow she taught me how to ride and then i worked there in the summer's
