- Danny has been part of our life always, was best friend to my dad especially when he was sick stayed with him and ate ice pops and watched the hockey game so mom could have a few hours out was there for us when he passed away and is still here for mom always. Great man with a huge heart !
-When I worked at Kentner's Dairy Bar he would come in for breakfast and coffees on and off. Always friendly.Great family man.
- My sister worked with him at the Roxy theatre. Wish the cinemas he owned were still operating in Georgetown. Nice man.
-Very friendly man if you knew and worked for him, I did in highschool (2005), but make noise during a movie and look out! I always felt bad not being able to drive that derby car for him, but I had to leave for college!
- I can remember playing pinball at the arcade on Mill st Georgetown and Mr Edwards in maintaining the machines and giving me free plays! For a young kid at the time I just thought, wow what a kind thing to do! Amazing, kind human being! Thanks again Mr Edwards!😁👍

- My Dad worked with Danny dad at Smith &stones and Danny used to change all the June boxes with. 45s and my Dad would buy them from him at 10 cents for me !such a nice guy !

- He also owned the Cottage Inn restaurant at the end of Main Street, where Yong's now is. I worked for the Greenwoods after school and then for Danny when they went back to England. Danny was the only one who ever fired me. Never did know why!
