- Dave was a great man, left us to soon. We where members together in Tachmen car club
- Hadn´t thought of that name for 60 years...we were in the same grade and somehow didn´t hit it off at that time. Found that we were playing in the same baseball league down at the park... made me think twice about continuing to play because Dave was often pretty physical...one very hot Sat morning,, on the baseball pitch, a number of bats had already flown out of players´ hands and the coaches kept telling everyone not directly involved in the game to keep behind the netting/wired fencing...I at bat and sure enough, my bat also flew out of my hands and struck Dave, who´d ignored the well-meant advice.... I believe he was hospitalized and I quit hardball league! due to this accident. Next week at school Dave and I began speaking with one another and that was it. Glad to read that he was such a successful G´towner!
- Great guy RIP Dave miss you at the car shows
- So sad . Another good man taken too early . Hugs Marilyn 💔💖
