- When I was a kid ,Fred was the guy in the tow truck, he and my dad were always together! Working side by side for years!! I remember hanging out at the shop , running around in the the junkyard up In limehouse almost every Saturday morning!! Then at the main shop in Georgetown!! Many great memories! Brenda ,Debbie, and of course Stephy!!! Dad and Fred were good together when they worked together!!! Many great memories!!!

- Have so many wonderful memories of the time spent over many years with Fred & Margaret Tolton. Woods Bay weeks & weekends; Saturday nights playing cards; road trips not knowing where we would end up. 💖💖💖

- MANY MOONS AGO MY PART TIME JOB WAS AT FREDS AUTO BODY WITH PAUL SPITERI. HOW WE GOT ANYTHING DONE WITH ALL THE PEOPLE DROPPING IN IS AMAZING. PAUL WAS FONDLY KNOWN AS "SPAGETT" AND FRED WAS "BARNEY". FRED WAS ALWAYS HELPING PEOPLE WELL BEFORE HIS TOW TRUCK DAYS. I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES BUT NO. 1 IS FRED AND I PAINTING MY 60 PONTIAC.

- For sure Fred , was a great guy we had lots of fun hangin around FREDS back in the day , we were always welcome at Freds , if you respected Fred , you were his FRIEND for life , just ask Marg , his wife about some of the SHENANAGINS that went on after hours at FREDS , when you think back there was no set hours at FREDS, as he seemed to be there all hours of the day n night, damn I miss FRED n the fun times there , he was a great friend n the sayin only the good pass on early is really true when it comes to FRED as far as I am concerned , R I P Fred til we catch up ....
- forgot all about Fred being called Barney!!🤣🤣 and I'm still called SPAGETT by close friends!!!!🤣🤣
-I knew your dad for many years Paul ( SPAGHETT) we worked at PLAX , for a few years as well from FREDS, another friend taken to young , n yes some kids did end up with their fathers nickname as well it is sort of funny how that happens ,huh....

- Great supporter of Halton Hills Fire Dept. with the provision of dozens and dozens of vehicles for auto extrication training all at no cost. Most Fire Departments paid handsome sums for each auto they used for training!! Always had time for a chat when at the Fire Station!!
- Fred was a great guy I am glad to have known him and have him play a role in my life for many years growing up, thanks Fred RIP old friend...

- My husband Merv Smith drove a tow truck for Fred part time and also remembers the times ay the shop. Fred treated everyone like family
