- My cousin.
- where is Jack?
- Still in the house in Glen Williams
- Omg I worked for him years ago
- He was a golf pro down East at one time.
- No that was the youngest Dave.
- Always got them mixed up.
- If I remember correctly his Dad had a bakery business in the family home...went to school with his sister Kim...does anyone know she might be?
- Worked with him and his father at the paper mill
- I tell everyone the best natural hockey player I ever met in Georgetown Cruise-Night was Jack Kemshead. Kempy was the greatest skater and he had all the moves. His parents used to sit by the boards next to the ice and they would switch ends as the periods changed so they could be in the offensive end and cheer Jack on. His brother Bob was another great skater. Remember the Georgetown girls hockey team with the Kemshead girls, Pat Davidson, Gail Pries, the Quackenbush girls. They were terrific
-I remember Jack at the arena - hockey!
- His father who is also related to us (Norton's). Made the wedding cakes for our Double Wedding's. (The Norton Twins). He was an amazing Baker and Bid worked right along with him.
-My dad would go .. for meat pies and mince tarts always the best..
-Long time since l seen this guy. Hope all goes well.
- Awe there is Jack super guy ,still makes meat pies for special occasions! Love them !
-Jackson putter in a smaller gear👍!!! Lmao
-As Dave McMenemy said Jack was a very talented hockey player and should have and could have made it in the Pros. Yes he still does make the Meatpies his father made famous it this town, all the best Jack :)
-i tell people about playing shinny hockey on the Credit River in the Glen and Jack got a breakaway and scored the winning goal in Inglewood cause nobody could catch him! lol (Sach)
-We all love those meat pies at the paper mill.
-Yes, nothing greater then a Fresh Meat Pie by Kemshead at lunch or break :)
-Nice guy. Nice family.
-Where do we get the meat pies?
-I wish either Jack or someone would bring them back and perhaps feature them in places like Preston's, Copper Kettle and a couple of places in town.
-We lived next to the Kemsheads when I was young. Knew Jack well. My mom used to say they were the best neighbours she ever had. Ray played hockey with Jack. Great guy. His sister Jill and I have been friends for over 60 years. Stay well Jack.😍
- Great family.
- Jack had the best teacher in the world as far as baking. No one could compare to Jack seniors meat pies, mincemeat tarts or wedding cakes. I’ve had juniors meat pies and they were fantastic. Take care Jack it’s a honour to call you my friend. Knew all the Kemshead family. Sure miss Joanne, never forget that cute little smile...
-Jack will love all of your gracious comments and well wished: )
-Good canoe club buddy, went on many trips with him. I didn't know about his hockey talents.
- Many times I was sent up the street to Kemsheads for baking of some sort. Meat pies were the best
- Yum, love those pies.
- Their French Fries on a Sunday afternoon. The kids would have a paper cone full. Just eating one was awesome. Meeting the bus at Wheelers and a tray of meat pies arrives for sale. The smell was unforgettable. Rarely missed the bus. 🙂
