- We had the pleasure of living across the hall from this incredible woman. I often think of her and how she went out of her way to let the boys and myself know she cared about us. She gave the best hugs. Truly an Angel. 💞
-Wonderful lady. The Legion was very lucky to have had such a hard working lady. I’ll never forget playing for the Georgetown Bantams and going to the Legion for meals. Jessie and all the G’town Legion women did a fantastic job feeding all the hockey players from all over Ontario and the U.S.A...
-Many will mention all Aunt Jess has done....understandably well deserved!! I am going to mention our Family reunions, Terra Cotta.....will always remember the love & pride for family. One of the special ladies who attended .....such fun times!!

-Thanks to the Hayes family who shared their mom to thousands of mostly boys from all over. She was such a special lady, besides the Bantam Tournament she watched over many of us the whole year thru making sure we were doing OK, offering encouragement, listen to our concerns and if we messed up she would let you know <3 Thank you Mom Hayes, gone but never forgotten

-Mom to 1000's of hockey kids. I remember going to the Legion with my mom when the CWL volunteered a meal. I was little and was in charge of setting out the salt and pepper. Mrs Hayes made me feel I did the most special job.
