-I had Jim Atkinson in Centennial when the school first opened in '66. Then my daughters had him when they were in Centennial in late '90's. Great guy!!

-With a good friend of Jim’s and my neighbour at Spry Lake, I visited Jim 2 years ago at his home in Sauble Beach. Had him as a Phys Ed teacher in ‘67-‘68. He also taught with my dad at Centennial and took a couple of summer courses with my dad at Waterloo. Other than being somewhat greyer, he hasn’t changed much. Still has the same sense of humour. We had a good visit and reminisced about the early Centennial years.

-Mr. Grigg, the 50/50 Deal, and trip to Washington DC.
- Mr. A was my first homeroom teacher at Centennial PS
- He was my Geography and Math teacher my first year at Centennial PS ......that was the first year it opened :)

- I was just about to say Mr Hall was my homeroom teacher and Mr A was in the classroom beside us. There was a lot of carrying on between you two. You two were great teachers. You had fun and were so respected. Such a fine balance.

-Such a fun guy! Was my volleyball coach at Centennial where I fell in love with the game!!! Also helped him coach a club team years later- had a blast in Ottawa for a tournament!!!

-Started wrestling program at Centennial. Took us to GDHS for training with high school team. Great preparation for many of us.

- I loved Jim as a Math teacher in Centennial and he was so good at teaching it with kindness and patience that I started to actually love it.
