- My husband Jim took him to the Oldtimers hockey games and gave him rides home after the Raiders games, Jim was very good to him, knowing him as a very young boy, as most of the Georgetown people did.
- I have known John since we were kids! Later on when both of us were adults, I would meet John at the McGIBBON on a Saturday and I would treat him to lunch. The usual burger and beer! He always called me Harry! You are a very special friend of mine John! God Bless you Brother!😃👍 A Oooo!!
- Just saw Johnny at Walmart great guy doesn’t judge anyone just loves them we caught up on hugs. As usual he called Harry a bum. Had many walks on the beach with him. Hugs buddy 🤗

- I took Johnny home many Sunday nights, I was a Rink Rat and Johnny would still be sitting there, Johnny what are you doing here this late, waiting to watch Porky, (Paul Robinson) his favourite. He had the same $2.00 bill for years, every time you would see him at the Booster club he would pat his stomach and say Hungry Don, are you, I say what would you like Johnny, his reply was a Hot Dog and Beer. :)
- I worked with John when I was a co op student. What a laugh he was but yes always rubbing his belly and always happy.

- John was taken from a loving home last month. My mom was taking care of him for the last 8 years.. hope he is doing well

-Yes I remember Johnny , was quite the character , always laughing a good guy for sure , and as well was always hungry , he just adored Norm Lockhurst , have not seen him in years the last time I seen him was at TIMMYS one day in Acton , hope he is doing n feeling well, loved his hockey that is for sure ...
- Grew up with Johnny. Was always included in our street hockey; baseball; and football. Strong as an Ox !! He'd always make a tour of the neighbourhood looking to talk with everyone and anyone, and never turn down a refreshment :-D A big Elvis fan and of any sports team that had won.:-D I ran into him 2 years ago after not seeing him for over 15 to 20 years. He seen me before I seen him, and ran over to slap a big bear hug on me. Hasn't changed much over the years.
- Grew up with Johnny. He would come down to the ball diamond on John Street and always asked Dave if he could play. Sure Johnny go stand where ever you want. His ball glove was so flat but he loved to play baseball.
- , his ball glove was flat and I picked up on that and went out and bought him a new one for Christmas after seeing it ! His father showed up at our door Christmas morning with 2 bottles of wine to say thank you !

- My Father met John 2 years ago at the Silver Creek Adult Day Program my Dad attends now.
He told me he was leaving and my Dad was sad and others as well I am sure. They had a great friendship with John and he was sad to see him leave. Hope he is doing well also he is a sweet man. I met him a few times at the "club" as we call it 😊
-Remember John well, John came in our dressing room many times on Sunday night.

- I worked with Johnnys mom, Tosca a few years ago at Plax & she was a beautiful person.
- I have known John for many many tears. It was a real honor to support him as part of Community Living North Halton.
- I went to school with John in kindergarten at chapel st, he would ask the teacher to go to the washroom and go home ! Lol Such a sweet guy growing up ! Hope he is doing wonderful have not seen Johnny in yrs
- A few months i got a hug from Johnny outside Food Basics, he was with a group of people.
- You always knew which team was winning in baseball or hockey. He would go from the losing teams end end up at e winning teams end., Every year , I would be there to hear him say"Hey Kirb you hungry or you thirsty?". So am I buy me a beer and a hot dog.Later on in life he was afraid to get in your car for a ride home..He is one person who I am glad that I met in this wonderful town..Love you buddy.
