- First person l met in school when we moved into town in 1953. Karen sat in front of me. Mrs. Wigglesworth ran off a bunch of numbers and karen added them in her head and came up with the right answer. Very smart lady and a friend forever. One great lady. ❤️

- When I returned to Georgetown , I taught YMCA’s second base at Harrison, walking in one day I spoke out loud to myself at how creepy it was to be back.. Karen came out of a classroom, pointed at me and ‘well you’re a Little’ and I said shit I just went back to grade 2.. we had a great laugh!

- She was my Grade 3 teacher at Harrison in 1963. Great teacher and lovely person!
- Karen was a driving force in raising money to take our boys (12of them) on a soccer tour to England and Scotland in the 70 ties. We catered to the Lions and Kinsmen weekly, worked at fall fairs and many other things as well as holding down full time jobs. Oh how young and busy we were! Karen was always a leader in our endeavours
- It was my pleasure to go to high school and work with Karen at Harrison School
- Went to school with Karen. She was amazing. I always tried to beat her grade wise. Tied with her once but never beat her.
