-Thanks Don for posting. Here’s a little something that you can find by the tree behind 3rd base dugout at the Glen park front diamond. We live on trying to make them proud. Gramma Vi and Grandad Tom lead the way with Community Spirit, and Mom and Dad followed suit with helping form the Glen Minor Ball.

- I remember Marg and John Haines very well my parents were good friends with them when we were growing up. Remember going to their house a lot in the Glen

- Vi Haines was usually the lady looking after the teen dances at St. Alban's hall. Joy was in my grade 8 class and we had a little graduation party at their place on Glen Cr. Dr. Real nice folks.

- Lovely family! Through my marriage to Larry Saunders, Evelyn Haines became my mother-in-law and Vi Haines was her mother-in-law. I have childhood memories of Vi who was a friend of my mothers! Love small town Georgetown!

- Tom and Vi were also involved with the Glen-Norval-Georgetown Lacrosse and the Little NHL. John and Bud played lacrosse. John played Raiders hockey.
- Yes he played with my father Jerry and Uncle Peter fendley :)
- John was responsible for me getting involved in lacrosse. Played until I was 66 and am now Commissioner. Very thankful! Was a wonderful man.
