From Larry Melton - "Blue Steel went thru changes over its few young years in mid 70's with Rod Gimpel (guitar/vocals, brother Jeff Gimpel (keyboards/vocals) Craig
Teeter(drums) Dave D'entremont(guitar/vocals) & Chris Karolidis(bass)
next Bill Kent joined on guitar replacing D'entremont as 2nd guitarist. Blue Steel decided to go with Rod as only guitar player & asked myself (Larry Melton) to join as lead vocalists for a show at Stewartown School, & continued playing then David Deere next joined replacing Chris on bass & later Glen O'Connor replaced Craig on drums) Blue Steel were Classic Rock 70's cover Band as a 5 pc playing a number of shows. & was asked to open for Canadian Rockers "Triumph" at Mayfield High School where Cindy Stanford became lead vocalists replacing (myself) Larry Melton & continued with Tom Wolf on drums replacing O'Connor performing locally until the band ended when Dave Deere joined the Air Force & the band continued with their educations & various careers. Blue Steel reunited for the Georgetown Home Coming at Memorial Arena in 2007 with Larry Melton Rod Gimpel Jeff Gimpel Tom Wolf David Deere"
