-My Mom loved to share this story of Doc. Williams whom she had a respectable crush on! She would be walking on Main Street and she was 9 mths pregnant at the time. Doctor Williams would be on the other side of the road and would yell Hi to my Mom using her maiden name. She would be embarrassed but also saw the humour in it!!
- I remember him coming to the house when I had a mouth infection that made it impossible to eat. He gave us an antibiotic that came in capsules and told mom to open them and sprinkle them on fudgecicles for me.....great way to take meds lol. Hmmmm maybe that’s got something to do with my love of chocolate ice cream??? Lol
- Dr Williams was the driving force behind the Town of Georgetown installing sanitary sewers in town to replace the septic tanks and cesspools that where the sewage systems of the day which were leading to the spread of disease!

- He was a great gentleman and doctor. Remember his caring ways and of course his candies!
-The needles they used then were bigger and scarier too!

- He was a great family doc back in the days of making house calls....even out in the country where we lived.
