-Nice man, I remember him as a princpal at Harrison public school. I also bought a 67 plymouth station wagon from him years later.
- Such a good guy! Was my principal at Wrigglesworth! I will never forget him
- He was a neighbour of ours, they lived one block over at the corner of Charles and Joseph Streets.
- He was my principal at Harrison nice man. I ran into him a few times years later and he always called me by name.
- Great man he was principal at Limehouse Public School and years later still remembered all the kids
- Mr. Balkind lives in Guelph and often writes letters to the Guelph Tribune.

-This photo of Mr. Balkind reveals the kind gentle man he was. Fond memories of Harrison Public School and the teachers, administrators (cannot remember the nice secretary's name) and principal/s and vice-principal/s. (I think Mr. MacDonald was the principal before Mr. Balkind.)
- He was my grade 3 principle very nice guy . One day we were kicking around a soccer ball at recess and Mr balkind started to kick it around with us next thing you know he kicked it through the class room window the janitor came out and started yelling at us kids next thing you see is Mr bulkind puts up his hand as said I did it .
