-Boy we were so lucky to grow up in a era with so many kind and wonderful people.
-Our favourite grocery store in glen Williams great people
-Great memories of Preston Store and going to school with Gordie. Mr. Preston was always so kind to children. 🤗🤗
-We lived on Confederation St. in The Glen for a few years, and did most of my grocery shopping there. We were 4 or 5 houses south of the store. Such a great store and wonderful people!! I could send my 5 year old son with a note of the things I'd want and they'd "help him shop", put it in his wagon and send him on his way. I could drop in later or another day and pay them. Things were so much better back then!!
-My grandparents lived in Glenn Williams. My brother and I were regulars at Preston's Store which was a5 minute walk from their home. George and Vi and Gordie knew all their customers by name. Great memories. Thanks for posting.
-I remember the bingo bus filling up with all the ladies from the Glen - Vi, my granny Helen Norton etc good times good memories !!
-Went on that bus also Jacki with Granny Mino her sister who lived on Karen Dr beside me Aunt Rose I think 🤔 great Glen memories. Ordered all my meat from Gordie so good and Gordie always was the best butcher.
