- I remember John coming to our Bantam Hockey Tournament and having the huge thrill of refereeing with him back when I was 17 and he wore his NHL sweater. What a great man and it is a cherished memory.
- I knew John and his wife Irene well. He was a great lacrosse (and mean) player and one hell of an NHL ref.❤️❤️. R.I. P. John and Irene.
