-I never had the pleasure of having June as a classroom teacher. I did have the pleasure of knowing her for most of my life. The wisdom, wit and enthusiasm that she had were all excellent life examples and lessons. Miss her smiling face.
-what a nice response.
- All three Blair boys had the good fortune to have June as their Grade 6 teacher. I was fortunate to be able to continue seeing her through the rest of her life. Once in later years I showed her my Grade 6 report card she had prepared and asked her to consider up grading my marks. She looked at the report card - read the notes and said the marks reflected the effort that was expended and they would remain unchanged. We had a good laugh as that was the response that i expected. All visits were filled with laughter and thoughts of the day.
-great story Jim! Thanks for sharing.
-Yes Grade 6 also. I think that class was in the old firehall. Am I right? Great teacher. She told me I ask too many questions. Lol
- Harry looked after her lawns for a few years years and we visited her a few times at Mountain View Residents. She was very passionate when I lost a family member in grade six. 🤗❤️
