-He was my grade 9 summer school teacher 1983. It was great! He played his records on the record player during class for the first two weeks and then if we did good work in class we were able to bring in our own records and he would play them for our last week. I remember one person brought in a Black Sabbath record and he really played it - lol Now that is some great teacher <3 ...... I loved Georgetown High!
-I had him for grade 12 and 13 physics 1968 /69
-Physics class: 28 boys, 2 girls....
-in gr 13 I was the only girl
-That was was the funniest! He made science fun, if that was possible
- He was there when when I was there a long long time ago LoL
-I was in his Physics class. It was hard but he somehow made you understand
-Grade 9 Physics. Great teacher. He was a friend of my in -laws and I got to see him outside of school. A lovely man with a great sense if humour.
- I agree with you Colleen. As he and his wife were good friends with my parents and the Gunns' I discovered he was a fun guy away from school.

- A chemistry teacher named Mr. Beer? Awesome.
-Was my teacher and we lived on the same road. Right across from the Browns farm.
-Cut his lawn a couple times for some pocket change.
-Interesting guy.
-Not a fan. The bugger had me sitting in the hall for grd. 9 Science. For the brief period that I was in the class, kids were throwing spit balls at the front of the room...one of them so large it covered the clock above the door. (Thhhhwwhap!) Lol.
-I did somehow manage to pass the class from a hallway seat btw. :) {as well as University Neurobiology, none thanks to Mr. Beer}
-I liked him . He was a sensible teacher, genuinely and generally interested in his students. With a sense of humour. He gave detentions to me for before school...be there at 730 am so that I would not miss wrestling practice after school.
-Hated physics but he made it tolerable.
- Also have fond memories of him, was pretty loose in his teaching style, yes, but Science was fun with him.
-what I particularly remember about Mr. Beer was that when he was mildly annoyed with me..... he would call me Clive. When he was a little more annoyed with me.... he would call me Simon. But when he was really annoyed with me and, I mean really annoyed, he always called me Mark.....!!!!!!!!!! just saying
- I enjoyed his chemistry class.
-Do you think he was making his point?
-I liked him except for dissecting things.
-Grade 9 science. I wasn't a great student. Mum said when she went to parent teacher interview, all he wanted to do was talk about Monty, who was a good student.
-Never had him as a teacher but certainly remember him. He was well liked.
