- I remember.
-I never had him as a teacher but later learned just how smart this man was. He was a member of the Wilfred Laurier university Senate, College of Electors at U of T, Member of The Royal Commonwealth Society, President of Halton Superannuated Teachers, Chairman of the Georgetown Hockey Citation Committee and President of The U of T Faculty Education Alumni, Also was behind organizing the GDHS 100 Reunion back in 1987..
- I had him for home room. Grade 9
- Kind man who cared about his students if you put in the effort.

- Still remember his story about chicle! 😲
- It was when he caught someone chewing gum. He said they made chicle for gum much like stomping grapes.They used a lot of child labor and when they had colds, they would just blow their noses into the chicle.

I had him for grade 9 geography. We had to write his name at the top of page for anything we handed in. If You spelt it wrong, you got minus marks.
His quote was “many many minus marks”
But I did manage to pass his course!!💪💪

- Great man. Sadly I was unable to tell him how grateful, I was for his wisdom knowledge and commitment to us students. In his living years, I was fortunate thou to tell Messer: Cotton, Ms. Pilgrim and Messer: Nelson.
-Had him in grade 10 and 11. I remember he was behind a Georgetown celebration one year and handed out white buttons which said I love Georgetown My kind of town. I don't know where mine went. Oddly enough years later I met him again at my cottage as he was my next door neighbour at the cottages brother in law.

-I met him a few years later in a professional capacity and asked about the Minus Marks for misspelling his name. He said it was so important to pay attention to simple details like the spelling of someone's name in order to succeed in life. A wise man.... and a good teacher, although I despised geography!

- remember that so well. Still in his suit and tie. I can remember on Monday him saying to me, “You guys are pretty good.” Really did respect the man. Was a great teacher. Bumped into him on Main Street during Georgetown days or something when running my dive shop in the Old Bank Building. He still remembered me.

- Just showed this to my mom. She said that one night some kids called Beaver Lumber and ordered some lumber to be delivered to his house. Apparently he was livid. Some people's kids eh?
-Mr Ramautarsingh was a very intelligent man, a great teacher I recall he addressed most people as Citizen and their last name. I became friends with his nephew Kerry a real nice guy, RIP Mr Ramautarsingh
