-The southern edge (for now) of Georgetown South is 10 Side Road. The 10th line crosses the river beyond the golf course and Sheridan nurseries.. The crazy boat part of the Boat race started there.

-I think sometimes it started here and sometimes in Terra Cotta. I'm pretty sure the ones in the Canoe's always started in Terra Cotta.

-had something to do with safety when changed...yes canoes started earlier

-Crazy boat races started in the park across from the Terra Cotta General Store when I was growing up . I watched them from my friends back yard just down the street .The parking lot at the Terra Cotta Inn was always packed .

-I use to watch from a house on king street .Mid to late 70s it started in Terra Cotta
