-a step back in time---inside too!!
-My grandmother worked at Beaumont knitting mill for years when it first opened...
-So did our Great Grandmother Granny Willett
-My Dad worked there for years also ,running the sock machines upstairs
-I remember when I was young, walking past Beaumont going from my Grandparents farm to Wheeler's
-My older brother and sisters worked there
-Been there many times. A great place for finding that special treasure. It's just around the the corner from us!!
-It looks to be in good shape. Has it been repurposed? What is it now?
-it has an awesome assortment of Fiesta ware
-Yes what is inside now?
-antiques...lots
-there is another store in same building I think
-That’s great! So often buildings are neglected and then demolished. What a natural transition for this historic industrial building.
-2 floors with many vendors selling quality antiques and collectibles. I have made so many great "finds" there....an addiction now :)
-Feathered Nest and Beaumont Antiques are there now
-Worked there for three years when they had the store at that time Doug Penrice owned the mill
-A lot of my best childhood memories are growing up in the Glen. LOVE IT.
-wow looks so different
-Worked there when it was Blackbox controls. Didn't get paid...😕
-Grew up with Doug Penrice and played hide and seek in the mill. Doug always gave my brother and I socks for Christmas
-One of my first jobs in the 70’s
