-I went their 1st year 1967. It was a school in the middle of a field. Their was a path through the field from the old lacrosse box on Sargent Rd. Lots of mud. Construction workers were still their.
-I lived right across from lacrosse box. Yup it was a school in a field. 👍😁

-I moved to Balinafad in 67. Would have bin grade 7 there. But went to Brisbane on 24 hwy. ☹️

-I too remember that walk through those fields and watching the subdivisions go up around it!

-Worked on the construction of the school and also taught there from 68 to 1980 before changing professions.

-First day of grade 6 and first day living in Georgetown....Mrs Horton was my teacher!
-You hung out with Judy ransom Mrs Hortons home room 66
-I had her as music supply. She also taught art. And btw. StilL lives in georgetown.

-Saw alot of great people, and teachers past / principals for the 50th celebration last "summer' - My Favourite teacher Don Warren was there, I was thrilled to see him again. ( okay amongst other fave teachers, June Lenz, Andrea Meirsma, Mrs. Ogden, ) does anyone rememeber Bob Pecora? ( okay my friends will) ;) best 3 years of my school life!! loved Centennial!
-I really liked Mr. Warren also, there were a lot of great things about Centennial.
I had him for Grade 6 homeroom..loved him and then he was Principal when matt started there
-He was my homeroom in Grade 6 too. 😎
-Walked from the bottom of raylawn to centennial back in the 70s 6 ft drifts Up and down every hill Those were some cold days
-Went to this school when it was being built.Classes were in portables.Its where I got the nickname :Sid" from Mike Forbes.
-Best of all was Mrs. Gimple!!! ❤
-My second favourite was Mr. Gudgeon. Loved math, still do.

-I went to Centennial. Me weedmark. Great musician had me in his home room for grades. 6 to 8. In the summer I went to concerts with him and his family. I gave great memories of centennial and a number of the teachers I stay in contact with.
