• half of kindergarten....grade 1, 2 and 3 and back for half of grade 8.......ah the memories!!!!!

•  Great memories where I grew that school till G 5 before transfered to Belleville school...
• I lived at 19 Chapel, the site of that school, for many years.
• What a lovely picture of Chapel Street School. K to 8 many years ago.

• Great memories. Baseball in front yard during recess, lunch and after school. Best hill In the back for winter sliding. "Don't put your tongue on the swing set"

  • My brother was around when they were demolishing the school. He scooped a brick for my sister and me. Mine is in my garden so I am often reminded of of this great school.

  The staircase looked so big when I was small.
•  Awesome school, oh to be young again..Chapel Street had the very best swings.. I loved getting those swings pumped up so I could see 15 feet in the air. Fun times!!!

• I have a brick also. Lived on both sides of Chapel. Loved that school. Lots of great memories for me. 🙂
• I loved the tobogganing. It was a small hill, meant you could go down more times and not so hard to climb!!🛷🛷Aghhhh. I remember it ending on the road.

•  My dad, aunts and uncles, and my siblings went to school here. I went to Holy Cross. We lived just down the hill. Loved the swings, tobogganing on the hill, and when little, riding my tricycle around the school.
• Wonderful childhood memories. Kindergarten through grade eight. Every year and every teacher leaving their lasting impression which shaped the lives of so many children. Great picture. Thanks for sharing.
