-almost to Grandmas ...;-)
-Is that house even there Shelley. Did they take it down for the condo's?
-no---it is still there
-It'll always ben Victoria Avenue to me!
-3 Victoria Ave for us... right next door to Speedy Douglas (and his yummy pear trees, lol).
-35 Victoria Avenue.... now gone. The first house to be replaced on the street as far as I know. It was a shack my dad rebuilt by hand... poorly.
-Has not changed as much as most.
-If she took this photo the other direction, the pool would be gone. That is a significant change!
-I used to visit The Broomhead's home. She always had green seedless grapes. MmMmMM
-Drove by there when Betty had backed out of her driveway, across the street, and into the swimming pool fence.
-I always refer to it as Victoria Ave. also. Born and lived at 31 Victoria Ave, 1955 until mid 60's. A few names I recall from the street were the Hurrns, Gobels, Hewitts, Leslies, Laws, Donahees, Hills, MacDonalds. Just to name a few.
-Hurren’s moved to a retirement home a year ago but still have house!! 95 and 91 year’s old!
-Pries, Fiebigs(sp), on other side of street my Aunt Eleanor Bailey.
-I sure know that name, although I was brother of Julie and Lauren Goebel.
Emmerson on 16 victoria ave .....
-Where I grew up. Formerly Victoria Cres.
The houses haven't changed much but across the road ( on the left) the pool and arena are obviously gone.
-Victoria Avenue I believe.
-Victoria Cres was the bottom end with Victoria Ave. after the bend at Fiebig's.
-Oh cool. I am sorry I did not know that.
-I lived next door to Broomhead's. Great neighbours. And Bill Anderson lived on the other side.
-Great neighbourhood. Lived with my parents at 6 Victoria Crescent. Then moved to 20 Victoria Crescent when we married.
-I was at 16 dayfoot in 82 left side of Broomheads
-I didn't know that Glen. Interesting. I remember Emmerson's & Lee's living there before you.
-Livingstons, Vivians, and don't forget Mrs Cook, where Herb & Nick brown grew up.
-Spent all my time from childhood to adult at Nanny's ,the pool and arena.
