-Lived at 34 Ewing St. (1960/65)❤️
-I used to live 45 till 65 are you related to Gary Barry Larry and David Agnew. Also there use to be a gut last name Clarke on Ewing any relation
-I knew John and Danny Clarke from Ewing Street :)
-my brothers. Ted was in between John and Danny
-Used to be big piles of dirt where those houses are..
-Lived at 24 Ewing St. the first almost 20 years of my life. Can remember when these houses were not there, just a dirt road and right along the road in front of these houses was a natural spring of fresh water trickling down and we could lay on our belly and drink from it. Used to sled down the hill in the winter time behind these houses that were not there.
-Also remember damming up the river back of Your place, and creating "Hydes Pond", and using the dynamite shack for a change room, and Your Dad helping to put up a diving board.
-Kent, memory tells me that you were in a photo the Herald published showing that swimming hole and the new POOL behind the Arena as it was being build or opened. I think they also had some words that the pool would help prevent the spread of Polio.
-Don't forget the pond beside the river at the bottom where many an epic hockey game was played. If memory serves correct the Hewson Cres. Team always won?????
-You only had 2 players, I think this is a case of "The older I get, the better I was" LOL
-Remember the winners in a war are the ones who write the history. We had a goalie!
-My father in law and his parent lived there at 47 hewson for a long time
-Jim Blair: Who was your goalie back in the day
-It wasn't Ernie, He lived on the wrong side of the tracks. LOL
-Kent is correct Ernie lived on the other / wrong side of the tracks. The goalie I was thinking of was my brother John Blair. Of course we also had beaver Braisby, Brian Peavoy or Doug Vivian.
-Remember swimming down there, too. I have a picture (maybe I will try posting it) of some of us down there. Dougie Mitchell, Bob Hyde, Danny & Dianne Golden, Monty Hyde and I in. We really did live in the best of times.

-I delivered the Globe & Mail to some of these homes as well as some on Hewson Cres. back in the late 1950's or early 1960's. Took over the route from Lorne Cofell. I think Frank Valk inherited it from me.
-I inherited it from you.

-Steven and Sharon Haddock played many hrs with them
-I lived there for a few years, it was a long way to work. Down the hill and up the other side and I was at work. Smith and Stone
-Lived on Temple Road for a number of years , off of Ewing Street in the 70s n 80s ...
-Remember riding my bike down that hill
-I grew up there 🙂
-Mark Hennesey and I full blast on a tricycle. Front tire got caught in sewer grate. I think I was the driver but could have been the one standing on the back. Few details left got banged up pretty good but then again could be my age.
-I used to pick elderberry for my dad for wine .And Jim the pond hockey was epic did we not play the Churchill crescent gang.
-Doug, I remember your dad's dandelion wine as well. You are correct we took on the Churchill crescent gang as well as the Normandy Blvd. group. This included road hockey when there was no ice.
-I still live here. In Glennwrights old house where I grew up. It's been a long time here for me. A great place to grow up as kids. There was a lot of kids around when we were young. Every day/night we were out from sunrise to sunset. The Grasbys, McClements, Agnews, Reyce, Woodstras, Browns, and and ..what a blast we all had. Nothing like the kids today. It's nice to see a few of the old names in the comments that I remember as we were young. I mean younger. Lol.
