-there was a plumbing store in there when i was a kid
-used horses to deliver the milk when I first came to town 56 .
-I think they used horses to deliver the bread and baked goods as well like powdered donuts etc. We used to wait for the bread man and ask him if he had any day olds we could have for free and most of the time he did . I also remember the ice truck , he would deliver block of ice for the refrigerators and he would break chops of ice off for us , that was better than a popsicle when it was a real hot day !!
-Elmer Hill used to deliver the bread (Browns) by horse and wagon that looked somewhat like a stage coach, he used to let me go with him on his route. I also remember the ice man but I don't know who he was!!
-John Moore delivered ice and milk, not sure who for. He lived on HWY 7 by the Tasty Freeze.
-I remember John but I think Barb and I are recalling someone before his time. The Tasty freeze did not exist then but I think the Moore house was there beside Tut Harrison's garage.

-I think the ice man might have lived in the Ewing St area because us kids seemed to know him well .( not sure though ) . I should ask Steve he might remember . He got his leg ran over by one of the carts !! Lol lol
-what ice cream place was on the highway opposite Dominion Gardens Maybe where the strip mall with Royal Pizza is ??? think there was houses around it memory is there but fuzzy lol
-Does anyone remember the guy coming around with the popcorn cart and candy apples and candy suckers?
-Tasty Freeze was a soft ice cream stand that popped up on Guelph ST beside what was the Moore house. It was between Tyers Ave and Brucewood!
-did Cathy Smith sister live in that house ??
-Did she by chance marry John Moore?., other wise I do not know
-her name was Pauline for some reason remember going to that house OMG we are going back 61 yrs
-Sandy Mundy Finamore , not me but Candy apples and Popcorn would have been great !
-Debbie Moore lived there, John's sister, she was Jim Hamiltons girlfriend, and that was about 60-61, He had a white and green 57 Ford hardtop.
-Jimmy Edwards delivered the ice blocks as my brother Steve remembers it !!
-They had a candy bar too!! For those of us who went to Wrigglesworth and lived on this side of the school that’s where we would stop for candy instead of Kay’s.
-Didn't Bill Smith have his car part business in the lower level?

-I remember the horse drawn milk delivery. I use to get up early Saturday morning so I could feed the horses sugar cubes and get the milk . We came to Georgetown summer of 55

-Noble Dairy. One scoop of ice cream 5 cents two scoops 10. The family lived upstairs. It was built by Sam Mackenzie

-And Jack and son John lived upstairs.
-I remember working on the milk trucks out of there as a kid. George and Gord were the drivers around town.
-that was Nobles Dairy many yrs ago horses were in the back we got our milk delivered by horse & buggy they had a big grey team we used to hang on the back and drag up the dirt rd on our feet, ha ha great memories
-Right in my back yard on the Blvd when I was a kid.
-Many lunches there when in high school.
-The milk trucks around back lol milk boxes so good they are now Parmalat Canada. Most milk cartons bear the Georgetown name as the address of company
-Our father, Lester Henderson, worked at this dairy and made all that yummy ice cream for many years. We always had some in our freezer. Ice cream still remains my favourite food after all these years. Thanks Dad and Georgetown Dairy 💕

-Ann Lorraine Noble. Daughter of Georgetown Dairy owner. Erwin Noble.
-Noble Court in town is named after Erwin and family, living on Normandy we used to spend a lot of time at the dairy bar and my great uncle Walt Hyde sold milk to the dairy, we had a few tours of the "factory" from Wrigglesworth where Phillip was a classmate.😁
-Remember going there for ice-cream when it was the dairy best ice-cream ever
-past by there everyday for 5 years twice a day to and from school...
-Remember milk delivered in horse drawn cart. They'd deliver a whole wooden case of milk for the Christmas holidays. The milk would freeze in the bottles and the cream rose up the top.
-My dad Denis McCartney delivered milk for them !!
-And in those days you could see the cows that made the milk we drank then on all our country roads. Halton County was one of the top producing dairy regions with award winning cows, according to the old copies of the Herald, I had to dig through, doing the looking back columns.
-Remember Muckarts plumbing at this location and also Smith automotive in the back
-Back in the day... this was the site of Steen's Dairy. Dad taking me there for a thick, chocolate milkshake. :)
-Steens dairy was in Erin, it was nobles Dairy
-and where Kentner opened their lunch counter. Steens was great place to wait while Dad was having his tires changed.

-This was Noble Diary for as long as I can remember< Lorraine Noble's parents had it for a number of years. Steens Dairy was downtown on Main Street where the Canada Trust is now located.
