-I can see the Copper Kettle! Lol...
-The United Church on the left. The bridge over the dam where we swam all summer and at Beaumont's dam as well. Great memories. 🤗🤗
-Me too
- Great picture!
- Have old pic's of this dam.
-Great picture
-Crossed the bridge many times growing up went to St Albans weekly and to visit Uncle Wes and Aunr Vi at 551 Main Street had friends up that way as well :)
-We used to swim at the Willow but thought we could swim well enough to go to the Dam but, I got over by the abutment and the current was pulling me over to the dam and I was in trouble. Harold Hilts saw me and swam over and got me to safety. I didn't do that again until I was a strong enough swimmer to be safe. Thank God for Harold. The Glen was a great place to swim.
-Home sweet home
-we where not rich but we could always raid the Dutchman garden Lol
-we had the best life in the Glen ❤️
- we did
-The Copper Kettle was Wheeler's General Store and post office when I lived there in the '60s. It's where we caught the school bus to GDHS at 8 am every day.
-Anyone know what year that bridge was replaced?
-Good memories riding my bike there and collecting beer bottles in the woods on the right.
-Was the dam on the left side still standing then?
