-I used to stop in at Joe's Tuck Shop on the way the high school most mornings. My dad used to visit Joe on weekday mornings as well. Good memories.
-My first time going to Joe’s to buy a bag of blackballs and jawbreakers — I got to the counter and froze. Joe was way up high and the display went on for a mile in my eight year old mind.
-Was my 1st job I worked for them after school and on the weekends great people.
-And the Felix the Cat clock, with its wagging tail and moving eyes. If you got on a Grey Coach bus, you got your ticket at Joe's.
-At one time Stans sold bus tickets.
-Bought all my Superman and Batman comics there ... His matchbook covers had a pin up girl on the back advertising his store..such a cool place when i was a kid..
-The sign "The complaint department is on the 10th floor, take the elevator" was a goodie too.
-Where did the term "Tuck shop" come from?... I have never heard it used before or since ...probably i remember this place so well because of the name..
-My wife had heard the term before and gave almost the same explanation that Wikipedia did.... I am such a babe in the woods...
-Dad was getting his cigars from there
-Both Julie and Lauren had jobs there I think.
-Oh to be able to take a walk back threw time............what a trip it could be.

-Certainly remember going to Joe's Tuck shop for all of my candy when a young girl. Remember Joe and Marg also. He did scare me too.
-Standing in front of Joe's one Sat. with Heath & Norm Lockhurst, when Heath asked for a dime, Norm gave him a quarter, when He returned from the store, Norm put His hand out and said change, Heath replied, You don't get change when I go to Joe's.
-Friday note was always shopping note for us and mum and dad always got us a treat from "Joe's" before they popped in to the McGibbon for a quick beer and then home to Terra Cotta.
-Today mum and dad would be charged with child abuse for leaving the three of us in the car while they had a quick beer and then dad would be charged with drinking and driving. 👅
-I remember dropping in to Joe’s for a little chat....Marg knew everyone and everything that was going on in town....great people...

-In the 50s my brother John worked there carrying the wooden cases of pop upstairs and the empties down. Penny candy heaven. Joe and Marg were great. I think Joe new everyone on the main drag and what they were up too😉.
-Worked there late 70’s for years. Marg and Joe were awesome to me loved working for them.

-I remember my 1st trip to Joe's, was in Holly Cross, probably grade 5 and crossing Silver Creek via log, sneaking to Joe's during lunch recess, all that half penny candy was a kids dream come true.
-I remember Joe letting me sneak looks into Playboy magazines. He and Marg always had a chair in the back behind a curtain. Mary never let me back there.😊
