-There was a guy who had trout holding ponds just further down the hill from there (I forget his name) He'd get mad as hell when we'd fish there. Lol. The ponds (3 of them?) where kinda on the river flood plane. Are the ponds still there? And, does anyone recall his name (owner of the ponds, lived nearby)? Early '80's timeframe reference.
-Pond's are still there and Mr Wolfe
-I'm not sure if he's still around but I'm pretty sure the property is still in the family.. They run a fish Hatchery there now and supply the upper credit
-YES! Mr. Wolfe! The old guy could run!! Lol! (just not as fast as we could scared!)
-ya ol Bob is still around, about 83 or so now. Still doing concrete as far as I know...
-Leo and May Wolf owned the property and yes it is still in our family
-Ponds are still there and are being kept by the Georgetown Anglers. Our kitchen window looks down on the hatcheries. This is Bob Wolfe’s property. He still patrols the property. However he allows people to walk through as long as they aren’t causing any trouble. Pretty spot.
-He did stock the ponds so i would say they were his
-I know. I was being factitious. The fish were clearly "his" possession/ property. (That is; unless they were on my line. In that instant, it's mine. 🤣)
-i lived on the sixth floor right over the front door.
-the superintendent used to put his ear up to people's doors to eves drop
-He was different, kind of like Mr. Roper on Three's company
-I use to live there
-I think just about everyone lived there at some point. We lived there till we bought our house! 2 bedroom on the front, then 3 bedroom on the back
-I lived there with my mom, then after I had my second daughter moved back in. Loved it
-I remember when I was little I thought they were soooo much bigger haha
-I remember when it was just a shortcut to the paper mill dam.
