-I’m the organist there although great people great choir. We just finished a busy Christmas season. Now we start on Easter
-The inside and pipe organ at Knox. The organ was built by Keates in Acton
-My parents both sang in the choir there in the 50s and 60s and I went there for piano lessons. The organist and organ/piano teacher was Bernice Gowland. I sang in the choir for a few years as well but not as long as my parents
-Taught Sunday School here and we were married there in 1967.
-Married my hubby, Mike there December 8, 1984.
-I was baptized by Rev. Calder, went to Sunday School and church and sang in the choir at Knox Presbyterian Church. So beautiful. Thanks for the wonderful picture
-My mom just retired from the choir after singing in it for over 70 years
-Probably same time as my parents sang in the choir. They were there till 1969 when they moved to the Manitoulin Island
-Remember as a tween standing across the street on Saturday's to watch weddings come out. Attended CGIT there with Mary Carney-Gudgeon, Susan Gudgeon Burns.
-The church where my parents Bruce and Louise Mossop were married in 1953 and the same church were Ed and I were married in 1974.
-Lots of family memories in this beautiful church. Love the stained glass windows

-It’s a beautiful building. I’ve never been inside. I’ll put that on my list of things to do this year.
-It’s open every Sunday at 11.

-St George’s Anglican. Was a choir and altar boy there.
-yes I was in the choir as well. Still have my medal .
-Got framed pic after Mom died. Always hung in her home. My angelic period. Didn’t last long. If you recall I think her (Audrey Letts) and Kay Chaplin were choir mothers.
-St George Anglican is next to the HighSchool. Knox is Downtown Georgetown on the corner of Church and Main
-Definitely Kay Chaplin when I was in the choir was the choir mother.
-Knox is at the corner of Main and Church St.
-The library is behind this church right?
-Yes
-We lived up the street on Edith for a few years. I always loved the library and this church. Such beautiful architecture! I always thought the library was so cool inside with all the ramps
-This was my church growing up ⛪️ I went to Sunday school here in the 60's and I got married here Sept 3 1977 💒
-This will always have a fond place in my heart as my Uncle Peter was the minister there for many years.
-We went to a new years party once at that church.
-Sang in the choir at Knox Presbyterian Church. Loved the family feel.
-Remember going to the new years party when we lived there
-My mother Heather Marchment was married here. :)
-When I was a kid my parents had the volunteer job of printing off the weekly church bulletins. We had a big Gestetner machine in our basement and it was fed tubes of black ink and the bulletins were run off by cranking a big handle on the side - I wish I had a picture of it. I know I'm aging myself.😊
-I think all the churches kept gestetner. In business. When I was at St. John’s we had also had a high speed paper folder that would jamb.
