-In my day, we played baseball where the new school is now! My dad played for the Limehouse Blues! LOL!
-Drank lots of beer there.
-Used to walk the trails from the sixth line over to the ball diamond on the fifth line almost every weekend
-Yes, the Limehouse Blues I wonder if anyone has a picture of them if so I would love to see it posted

-helped build first proper baseball field there .. Mr Snow from Ballinafad came and scraped and leveled it out .. Scott , Deforest , Maltby . Moore ,Phiel . Rogers .. Last names of a few people that I can remember being there sure there was more sorry if I left you out

-it is so weird I have known your Dad for so many years and do not remember him in Limehouse though I lived there from 1963 to 80
-we lived in silver creek till 1975. He coached in Limehouse and helped spike and Koop with the diamond.
-Us kids all went to Limehouse public.
-BARB that spot was picked out by SPIKE one sat got RED ROCHER to level it off [it was a bad field ]after that we cut cedar trees for posts for back stop SOME ONE GAVE US CHICKEN WIRE FOR IT SPIKE DID AHELL OF A LOT OF WORK INTO THIS went to the mayor [ithink RUSS MILLER ]TO GET ROAD GRATER TO LEVEL THE FIELD ] . ONE of the pitchers for my coaching was JOE DEFOREST it was a pee-wee team ANN MARIE MOOR COACH THE GIRLS
-I helped Anna Marie one day had batting practice I played catcher she played pitcher she knocked me out I remember you living in Silvercreek now ... knew the name Red but couldn't remember who he was .. Coop made us stew out of moose for us all .. it was good . Yes Spike did a lot we were playing at the school before that was worried about windows . The good old days .. think Jim Wilson used to race at the Kart track
-BARB I remember you guys living behind the store on the hill did CARMAN HAVE A TAXIE THEN phone # 877-9914 OURS WAS 877-9915 OH WHAT FUN EH
-omg yes Flash Cab was our taxi company and the right phone number ..yes the boys were raised on the hill behind the store ..
-877 rang a bell right away. We were on a party line. That was just not right. Everybody listening to your conversation. lol
-My family spent a lot of time at the ball park. Both of my children played there. Great memories

-I played for limehouse fastball in the 70s
-JUST talking to one of the first players on that team it was 49 years ago HE WAS 12 NOW IN HIS 60 hope it ok
-that long ago OMG the boys all played on different teams Carman coached a boys team and I coached a girls crazy days good thing we were young then
-My favourite place to be

-Our number was 9144 use to get the drunks calling all night almost every night
-sorry lol maybe that was after I hung up on them when they got rude lol
-Broke my nose three times playing ball there pitching...should have played outfield...lol
