- Which way are we looking at Maple Ave
- not sure.. Haven't figured that out yet
- It looks like a long street but in 1946 Maple didn’t go all the way thru from the highway to main so don’t know which way we r looking
- me either.. but that's the comment that was on the picture when I got it..
- I've been trying to figure this out. Obviously it has to be in the flat section between the top of North Halton and Edith Street where it starts to go downhill. My grandparents lived on Maple Avenue at that time, it was 39 Maple Avenue West on the north side near the corner of Charles Street (now 294 Maple since the numbering was changed). Back then there wasn't much on Maple Avenue and their house was a farmhouse with a lot of land attached. The house on the right here doesn't really look like theirs though. If I figure anything out I'll post it
- I was thinking the same thing.
- could this be the stretch between Guelph st and Mountainview?
- I was thinking the same thing.
