- Pearl Scott worked at Garners. She was Pat Scott's Aunt. Pearl, Pat and Pat's Mom all lived together in a house on Church Street (I think). They attended the Presbyterian Church. Pearl was a lovely, soft spoken lady.

-I WORKED AT GARNERS WHILE GOING TO HIGH SCHOOL. MR. GARNER WAS A GREAT TO WORK FOR. ALSO WORKED AT JOE'S TUCK SHOP, FOR JOE AND MARG MCCLINTOCK, A TREAT.
-. I too worked at Joe's Tuck Shop. Marg and Joe treated me great and I have many fond memories of them.
-Garners was the place to go for nice linens and they also had baby clothes

-Everybody in town got their Gideon Bible from Mr. Garner

-Unfortunately it's going to look like the back streets of Detroit for the next several years.
-Unfortunately developer bought the property expecting to make millions on on his investments and do now she won't even be able to break even by selling it only have to sync more money into it to try to turn into something else in what can you turn it into without another couple million dollars of investment.
-So many got their wish.
-Couldn't they do something similar to what they did with the cibc?
-ya but not under ground apparently

-I'm really curious why they did not hire the engineers before they bought the property only to find out that there's a major aquifer underneath it no underground parking people no structural foundation people
-I remember going into the bank with my mom. A beautiful building. I was always in awe of the dark wood and marble. Garners was a go to shop for so many things. Lovely ladies!
