- I miss the ceremonies in Gtown. Went to them every year.
- From the cars late forties or early fifties.
- Ken Murray in the lead. Ken was CSM here in Georgetown, he later became RSM of the Lornes. It was often said that Ken was the youngest CSM to serve in WW2. He was a no nonsense professional.
- Do they not have a Parade any more.
- They're not dressed warmly enough for a November parade - I think this may be another time of year
- Yes, there will be a parade on the 11th downtown to the cenotaph. Service starts at 11am at the cenotaph
- My dad marched for alot of years in Georgetown, Mac McLean did alot of good for vets and there widows too miss you dad.
- My Dad was proud to march in these parades, year after year.
- The cars are from the early 50's I believe.
- Ron always marched in the parade when he was in the Lorne Scots, used to sit at the armories to warm up his car for him, was always a really cold day especially when wearing a kilt, tomorrow is the first Remberance Day without him but I shall go
- Wonder how many Uncle Jack marched in.......

I came across this website while searching for my McLean ancestors who lived in Georgetown in the 1800s. I wonder if we are related or if you have any information of the McLeans in this area. Thank you!
