-It was a drainage from the cedar bog kitty corner across the street. In winter, the braver of us would slide on the frozen stream through the culvert to where the parking lot is now. Lol.
-Such good memories stopping here on the way to Park School.
-Went down behind chapel street east also Victoria to pool
-The river is still there underground
-It was exposed when Main Street was dug up a few years ago
-Why are the flags halfway down the pole?
-Probably a veteran passed away that day
-It's a very beautiful, peaceful spot. We always spend a few minutes here when we go to the farmers market.
-Such a peaceful place.
-So beautiful and serene.
-Beautiful spot, love to just sit there, so much of our history
-Does anyone have a story on those artillery pieces? (Where they came from, why they're there?)
-My childhood playground
-When the pond was there we skated in winter & swam in summer.I don't know where cannons came from but the cenotaph used to be at the top of main st.& 7 hwy..
