-One of the things I remember from Young's, as a kid, is the glass display case they had with different types of peanuts. Lots of people used to go in there to pay their phone bills at the back. We also usually got films developed there.
-And when the post office moved, you could buy stamps, like you can now at Shoppers Drug Marts.
-They also cashed pay cheques after work because in those days the banks hours were not very convenient. Always worried if I was in a line up if they’d run out of cash when I got to them. 🤓
-Georgetown Thai is THE best in town, never disappointed. Always delicious, fresh ingredients...so yummy! And No i dont work there 🤣
-We paid our phone bill there. Mrs. Harris worked the counter.

-Anyone taking photos then went to the drug stores to have their photos developed and printed too and wait 3 -5 days to see the results.

-I lived On main street for a bit in an apartment above these places
