The Question was..Where did you go to see Santa when you were younger??
-Breakfast with Santa at the old Zellers restaurant:)
Four corners. AKA Main and Mill Sts.
-Yes!! I remember the parade ended there, they parked the Float and we would go up to visit!
-and get a candy cane and an orange. Think I remember hot chocolate too. Every kid would go. Could you imagine that today?
-Yes!! Those were great days !
-Zellers
-Eaton's Queen and Yonge St. Toronto
-Eaton' Toyland first then across the road to Simpsons. Also the Eaton's windows on Yonge Street.
-Simpson's, now HBC had some great ones just last year. I'll look for some pictures posted by a friend.
-Aren't we dating ourselves, tho'.
-yes, but wasn't Christmas so much simpler.
-Co-op, I remember my Dad taking my sister and I for pictures with Santa and leaving all our snow clothes on. That would have been forty or so years ago.
-To the Legion Christmas party. He wad a great Santa. After my dad and I did my Christmas shopping for my mom's present. Went to Silver's, Garners, and the Five and Dime store Rays. Ended up with slippers or gloves every year. I remember it always snowed (Probably didnt) and you could hear the carols being sung over the loudspeaker from St. John's United Church. Magic!
-Zellers skillet, breakfast with santa, and I believe he had some type of set up in zellers too for pics
-Me too
-The Legion each year....think it was a party for members families
-I remember going there and The Gib.
-That's funny; I saw him all over Norval this morning.
-i use to help out with the breakfast with Santa in the back room of the magibbon hotel
-When I think of Georgetown Santa, I remember Mr Ford. Best Santa ever
