-Spent every Sunday morning sitting on the memorial there watching my dad pitch for the Kinsmen with $2.50 worth of 5 cent candies from the snack bar. Man that was a great childhood.
-I’m sure I was right there beside you some days as that is where I always sat as well. Kinsmen and Park Lincoln has some great battles in those years.
-This is very true. It was a very different league back then. It's not the same at the Gellert Imo. Sunday mornings at the fairgrounds running and biking through the trails that at that age seemed endless and burning my ass cheeks on that old metal slide.
-I remember going there at night with all my buddies that I worked with at Zellers. We were teenagers. We'd shimmy up the pole and switch on the lights. After a few hours of playing, we'd shut the lights off and ride our bikes home, with our gloves hanging from our handlebars. Yep, you're right, . We had a great childhood.
-Scotty was my uncle. A wonderful man. A most gracious, kind, and gentle man. My aunt was so proud of this memorial to Scotty. She would take everyone who came to visit to see the memorial.
-HE was probably the greatest man Georgetown have known for his ability to be GREATEST IN BOTH HOCKEY &BASEBALL I was so lucky to have played with him for 1 or 2 years in soft ball
