-I went there as a child
-Went to Sunday School there.
-Me too.
-Went there when it was a little white church. Around 1967 when we first moved to GTown, Reverend Johnson was the first minister I remember. It was so small we had Sunday school first then brought in the chairs for actual church😃
-My parents were friends with Calvin & Connie Johnson. He was very dear to me and helped me as a young child with the passing of my budgie. I was so upset and he said “but Tiffy you know he went to heaven”. I responded “no they threw him in the garbage! “ 🤣
-My father is a chartered member at this church (he has been there right from the beginning) We met at Harrison Public School at first, then they built the portable. I went to church, christened, confirmed, and married at that church. My father attends every Sunday. I remember the floors being so cold, being a portable, and we met there as brownies.
-Good memories of Sunday School, cubs and Scouts with Jim and Gord.
-My father and I just attended a funeral for George Ventry. He was a great scout leader when my bro, Jim was in scouting.
-George was my Scouter with Jim. I did not know he passed. Sad.
-March 21 we travelled to Waterdown for the service, he just turned 91 years. I am still good friends with Deb. George and Deb lived in homes in an adult community near Freelton, called Antrim Glen.
