Left to Right - Gig, Chris Todd, Tom Thompson, Larry Fraser, Brent Barkhouse, John Wilcox, Bruce Gregg
-Best nights at Station House!! Great memories!
-Wow, wonderful and so nice to remember Gig as well!
-Great memories of a very talented local band !
-What a good picture ! Thanks for sharing...
-They were the best!
-For those of us that don't remember all those faces, the names would be nice!
-I never got to see them play but the third guy from the right taught me how to play guitar. I think his name is Brent.
-Bruce Gregg on the far right.
-Which sadly we lost him. He was on this group quite frequently and we didn't even know he was dying. So sad.
-yes it was very sad. He lived a couple blocks away from me and I used to run into him every so often in the neighbourhood.
-Great photo
-Before Bryan Day 💖
-Thanks for posting this Bonnie. Been a while since I've seen it. If I could clarify something here, because I get asked ... There were actually 2 versions of Station House. The original band (ver 1) is the one in the photo, Gig started it in the late '60's, we played until Gig left for Berklee in the mid-'70's. Tom Thompson moved away. This is the band that played those wild nights at the Station House... what a blast!! Then, following Gig & Tom leaving...... myself, Fraser & the horn guys were joined by Bryan Day, Larry Thompson & Peter McCormick. This became Station House (ver 2). This is the band that played at the Riviera/Way Jay, and the 2007 Homecoming. As a side note, I have a number of photos of SH2, but none of the original SH1 (other than this photo Bonnie posted). The SH1 photos are what Guy Hillock is looking for....
-Those were the days! Loved hearing SH2 and other great bands at the 2007 homecoming.
-They were the best!
-Great throw back pic. I remember a few of the guys.
