-This place has really stood the test of time. It's where we often had dinner out when I was a kid back in the 60s.

-After playing with the Five Outcasts at the Georgetown Arena Rose Room dances, this was always the last stop of the night! Great memories from the mid ‘60s.

-The part that used to be the "non-smoking" section was actually the original Canadian Tire store which also took in a portion of Joe's Barbershop as well. Store was owned/operated by my uncle Lloyd Marks and my father Frank Wallace. My sister Barb and I worked there and then at the "new" store where Carpet Barn is.
-My mom worked there back in the early sixties. John Winfield, a regular there, set her up on a blind date. That date became a marriage March 27, 1965.... My mom and dad.
-We were there the other night. Little Lacey is the best.
-I use to like there Chicken Salad sandwiches....have done any renovations???....I use like Fongs...love there honey garlic ribs

-Every Friday night I order my dinner there 'to go'. Lacey is the greatest! She knows exactly what I want, and then she gets me the newspaper while I wait. Best place to eat if you want home cooked food and the best service.

-oh the memories. I worked there part time for two years...grade 11 and grade 12 1963 and 1964 Now everyone knows how old I am (hahah). When I visit (my Older sister). we go there. I worked for John, Kay, and Peter. They were very nice to work for.
-We used to hang out their Chris would look over the kitchen counter to quiet down anyone big noise. Remember Minus. Not sure of the spelling he had a drag car with the Greek painted on it. I stopped for breakfast last year and he was cooking. Great family great restaurant and great memories.
-Between the Georgeview and Stan's downtown cherry coke and fries with gravy....yummy
