-I remember when the Liquor Store was on Mill Street next to the Legion and you ordered what you wanted and they gave it to you in a brown paper bag? Used to love going in with my dad.😁
-My Dad worked there part time... I remember when they built the “new” one which is now Remax. It was a big deal because it was “self serve”
-Ron worked there part time when we were first married
-I remember the Mill Street store.
-yes I remember that liquor store, you filled out a card and they went in the back to get it for you
-Fill out the blue slip :)And it was not with my dad and I was not 21... :)
-Lloyd Marks was the original owner.
-You also had to fill out a booklet to get your liquor. I remember my mom having to do this.

-Remember when it was the Canadian Tire store. When it was the LCBO, l asked if they would accept Canadian Tire money for my purchase!

-Bob am I wrong in thinking Frank Wallace was part owner with his brother-in-law Lloyd Marks. My Mother Phyllis loyd worked there after my Father passed in 1959.
-Not sure that Frank was a part owner, though Frank did work there. Barb Marks and Ruth Wallace were sisters, two of the funniest people I have ever known.
-was Frank Wallace Barb Wallace father,she was married to Jim Good let who both sadly passed away
-Oh the poor beer store is gone. Now that is a landmark
-Georgetown's original Beer Store was on Mill Street across from the Legion in the Muckart Building along with Muckarts Plunbing and Heating and Russ Taggart's Barber Shop!!

-My dad was the manager at the beer store on Mill st when we first moved to town in 1953.
Anyone remember Ivan Hays, hair salon down the little alley.
-No. Got my brush cuts from Merv on the Blvd.
